i said no its too expensive, but really, i'd need a stronger computer (maybe a desktop instead of a laptop  ) to run it... and if i *was* going to run it, if it didn't come with my computer, i rather doubt i'd pay for it.

I think the upgrade is inevitable ... a better question would be "WHEN will you upgrade to Vista."
Resistance is futile :)

I believe I made this thread before. And then, someone else did. And now, another one.

As I'm just too lazy to build my own, I'll probably end up buying a PC with vista on it. I'll be keeping my XP disk just in case though.

I recently installed the vista evaluation copy on my pc. There was alot I liked about it. But as far as my home network goes Vista just wasn't setup right. It seems to be geared more towards wireless home networks which I haven't upgraded to yet. And when I found out I couldn't lan ut2003 vista just had to go. I've been able to upgrade my xp home to include almost all of the features that I enjoyed from vista except the built in media center but with media player 11 I find that I don't need the media center anyhow. Also I had a love hate relationship with the new firewall. It damn near prompts you for an ok before it will let you run anything.

Theres no way any of the hardware I run will support it.

I said I'm gonna get it but screw paying for it. As soon as I get used to the P2P stuff I'm gonna get by there. One of my friends helped me get 98SE, 2000, XP (whenever he gonna give it), and Vista Beta. I love how it looks, but then again theres some features I didn't like about it ex: the scroll-through in 3D mode.

I'm going to be an Apple drone when Vista is released on the unsuspecting souls.
