Today was a huge day, the 21st issue of Scud: The Disposable Assassin came out. Why is that such a big deal? Well there hasn't been a new issue of Scud for about 10 years. Scud tells the story of a disposable assassin who becomes self-aware and realizes that if he kill his target he will self-destruct. So he puts his victim (jeff) on life support and to pay the life support bills he becomes an assassin for hire. It's incredibly funny, ultra violent, and pretty damn insane.
There is a great interview with the creator of Scud, Rob Schrab on ainitcool.com, along with a review of issue 21. Rob and his writing partner Dan Harmon wrote the movie Monster House, along with the failed fox pilot Heat Vision and Jack. They also started Channel101.com and co-created the Sarah Silverman Program with Sarah Silverman. Rob directs most of the Silverman Programs. I think Alex might know Rob actually, since they are both good friends with Liam Lynch.
