Saw that news and had to blink a few times. Least I imagined such a headline.

In Geoff Johns' interview yesterday he said the new Superman writer and he were going to be cooking up something together.

I may just do a happy dance right about now.

That's excellent news. The Superman books are definately on a roll.

Yeah, you guys have been saying that Action is really good now. I jumped off of it because I was annoyed with it, and I'm not the biggest Superman fan. But now...the synergy between Robinson and Johns...?

I may start getting both books.

Robinson was one of my favorite comics writers in the 90's. Let's hope this is THAT Robinson and not the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen scriptwriter Robinson.

Although, I refuse to believe that that travesty was really any of his doing.

Well if you want any indication of his recent work, read the one year later arc in the Batbooks called "Face the face"

that's right, I did read that. I thought it was good, but not up to par with his best works. But maybe he'll invest more in a long run on Superman.

(god, I hope it's not just a 6-issue arc and he's gone again...)
