This is just sad to me... I'll probably miss Bionic Woman most.
**edit** pushing daisies is fine though.

I have a conflicting article. I hope that it stays on the air.

"The list of returning series are mostly those you'd expect to see: Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, and Lost are the veteran shows on the list, joined by rookie shows Pushing Daisies, Samantha Who?, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money."

The show lists that are out now I being twisted.
Pushing Daisies isn't being cancelled, they are just not going to go back and make more shows for this season.
A lot of shows are just calling it quits for the Season right now, but certain News outlets are reporting it as a Permanent shut down.

The article says that while critics loved pushing daisies it doesn't have the ratings. typically advertisers look at the numbers. In this climate of recession we're already seeing ad dollars being pulled from lower rated TV. It's simple math, no matter how much we all love the show it's on shakey legs at best.

I really hope Pushing Daisies comes back. I was worried it would go after the strike. :(

we need to find Neilson ratings families, kidnap their children and force them to watch it over and over.
Pushing Daisies isn't canceled:

Just don't touch it for a minute... maybe a crappy show will die.

As far as I know I don't think many shows are being canceled. Mainly because there aren't many shows to replace them, and I guess that's why some shows lasted longer then they usually would have. I remember seeing an article that Bionic Woman Season 1 Vol. 1 is going to DVD. I have no clue if it's canceled for good. My Name is Earl, The Office, and 30 Rock might be doing 8 more episodes at least. Here's a link for an IGN page of different shows and their progress.

Established, half hour comedies will likely shoot several episodes for this season. These shows are easier to reboot. Just turn the studio lights on and go back to work.
One hour drama's, especially shows with location shooting will have a much tougher time. Lost is the most extreme case, they have to gather the cast and crew back to Hawaii. Most likely wont come back until next fall.
Several shows are lobbying the networks to extend the season into June or July so they could at least have a shot at airing 4-5 episodes. Doubt it will happen.
I couldn't care less about Daisy's. I checked out two episodes back. I was so apathetic I erased the last episode of the Tivo without watching it.
I can't watch the Office anymore either. I just feel bad watching the show. It makes me laugh and I think its a great show. It's just that having worked with people much like the characters, I wind up feeling bad for having laughed. The show is too real for me.

I have never heard of brothers and sisters.
i got the first season box set cause it was 10 bucks(they marked it wrong so sold it to me with that price) but never did get around to seeing it...
anyways any time a show gets can'd its always a little sad cause you know some were some place a person is crying them self to sleep over it.
unless the show sucked an it was going to happen sooner or later 0_0

I really do not like these shows, you got me all excited thinking they were canceled.Bionic Woman is a very broken show. She gets her butt kicked every episode that I have seen. What is the point of being Bionic if you cannot fight.
Pushing Daises is the TV version of Series of Unfortunate Events. While I do think the kids books are funny, the show is silly and lifeless.

it will continue to wallow in mediocrity, as it has since the start of Season 3.

I was really hoping against hope that Journeyman would somehow make it back. :(
Oh well, at least Daisies, Moonlight and Supernatural are in the clear.
