Spore Release Date and Mass Effect PC!

Hey guys, was just browsing the Gamespy.com website and noticed the 2 new articles, the first, announcing the Spore release date! September 7th 2008! Can't wait!

Same here, I really wanted it and expected it to be closer than that. Hopefully it means it'll be great instead of good etc, though.

I really can't wait till Spore comes out. I've been waiting FOREVER... well not as long as DNF. More importantly when is Starcraft 2 coming out!

I'll believe the Spore release date when the game is physically in my hands!

As for Mass Effect, I doubt my PC would handle it, though I think I'd enjoy it a lot more on the PC just because of the hot keys. It'd make battle move by a lot faster when you don't have to "pause" to change equipment or use a special ability (which I RARELY used on the 360 because of the inconvenience). I'm curious as to how mod friendly the game'll be.

How long have we been waiting for Spore? Too bloody long! It's great that a release date has been announced. Does anyone know if that release date is PC only, or multi platform?

EDIT: Nevermind, answered my own question. PC, Mac and DS versions confirmed for September 7. The rest will have to wait.

New Screenshots from the Mass Effect PC version showing off the inventory/ squad interface, the gfx do have a sharpness and shine that does feel SLIGHTLY superior to the Xbox 360 version, so the wait may just have been worth it :)
