Yeah, I know what you're all gonna say, "There's no such thing as 'Marked Man' Online", or is there? Me and one of my pals online were freeburning. While we were smashin' around, this one guy kept on challenging us so we would take him down every chance we got. As time went one we switched our cars to a Hunter Citizen and a Hunter Civilian. Ha ha, after that, the guy would take off and we would chase him trying to take him down and it was a TON OF FUN. It was like an accomplishment everytime we took him down. "He's comin' your way!" "Cut him off!" ETC. ETC. But anyway, I was thinkin' that people who owned Hunter Civilians could deck it out with the ALL BLACK "Finish 2" and get some online "Marked Man" matches going. It's a TON of fun and I highly suggest you guys try it out.

Ha ha oh yeah, did I mention I got the "Marked Man" car? It's the Hunter Civilian. "Finish 2" is the awesome BLACK "Marked Man" finish.
ALSO: The Hunter Civilian is the upgraded version of the Hunter Citizen. Complete the Hunter Citizen's burning route to get it.

Oddly, it still seems weaker than the one the game uses.
ok, so that's not odd...games do that all the time.

I dunno, maybe. It still seems pretty freakin' powerful to me. :D

I assume this is "Burnout Paradize" stuff? A helpful note somewhere in the original post would be nice. If nothing else it should make people interested in the game.

Admittedly, it's much better to be the one chasing others in it compared to running from the AI.
But seriously, the fastest cars in the game...the AI can keep up with in that car, and pass.
yes, Burnout Paradise stuff...I think I need to go play now.

Rubberband AI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubberband_AI). My arch-nemesis that keeps me from enjoying any racing game, ever. Only thing is, I remember in Burnout 3 that the cars didn't slow down if they got ahead of me, no they kept going Mach 47 and if they passed you, you better have like 4 laps left to go and not mess up again before the end of the race if you wanted to get in 1st again.

Yep...oddly, it didn't affect me in races, just the marked man. Races, after getting the Carbon X12...well, I'd finish by skidding across the finish line sideways and see if they showed up before the 'results' screens had finished.
I guess it makes sense, in that sense, since they figure the marked man would be dull if you got too far away. (Although, they do have cars coming from in front too.)
Edit: Yes, I like using the word 'oddly', damn it.

When I played Tekken 3 on playstation, a non vid game playing friend was watching me. I had the match setting on 4 rounds. He noticed that it went "mathmatical" on me when I was beating it 3 rounds to zero.
Same with high ranked AI boxers on Fightnight. You can beat them to hell and when you are close enough to win with a minimum of maybe 2 well placed shots, the Ai boxer will haymaker you or even, dirty shot you, (especially if you have a rivalry with that boxer) and catch up to you. It's weird, because they will truly hurt you with a power shot, that they somehow managed to amass the power to throw, despite hurting, having no energy, and not having had the power to even land a jab, prior to that killer haymaker.
