So did anyone else notice the Torchwood transition sound fx thing in the recent episode of Smallville? I don't know why, I just found it really distracting. Kept waiting for Jack to come out and kiss Clark or something :p

In fact, I took a sample from torchwood, and a sample from smallville.

That would have been fine. Clark needs that.
Of course, you bring up an interesting idea. Torchwood crossovers, I guess the twenty-first century is when it all happens.

You could almost already argu that Torchwood being built over a rift could be a UK equivalent of a hell mouth, with a hell mouth being a rift into another part of space/time ... so there could be a Buffyverse cross over as well. Hmmm. There was already.

I'm just waiting to see what other Buffy alumnae end up on Doctor Who. Anyhow, the existence of alternate universes has been established in the Doctor Who continuum.
