the story itself looks great, a lot of people have been down on DD of late, but for me it's been fantastic, definitely one of the best books out there as far as I'm concerned

ED BRUBAKER ON RE-TEAMING WITH GREG RUCKA ON DAREDEVIL (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=148085)
Earlier this month we spoke to writer Greg Rucka about his upcoming arc on Marvel’s Daredevil, which will see him re-team with regular series writer (and Rucka’s previous collaborator on DC’s Gotham Central) Ed Brubaker.
Rucka gave us his view on the gig, and now, we’ve caught up with Brubaker for a brief chat.
Newsarama: Ed, we've heard from Greg on this, but what got the ball rolling on your side of this Daredevil arc? Did you need a schedule break, or was it his voice that you wanted?
Ed Brubaker: It was a bunch of things, really, a bit of all that. Primarily, it was me wanting to work with Greg again, and having a time and place that I felt would work out perfectly. I was beginning to plot out a legal thriller story for DD, and I just felt like it was the perfect time to bring him in to help me. Legal thrillers make me think of the Gotham Central days, basically, and I'd been rereading the last few trades recently and really looking at what we accomplished there, all of us, for the first time since it ended. Thankfully, Greg has decided to stay free of exclusive contracts for now, at least, so he was able to jump at my offer. Then I just had to call up Warren and tell him the deal......
