I usually do my shopping at Ross, but want your help with finding some good and inexpensive form fitting cotton t-shirts.
My look consists of éS Scale shoes with Adidas for socks, but with any kind of cheap jeans and boxer shorts so please no ironic gangsta or geeky designs.
While trying to come up with some graphic tees for myself I came across www.threadless.com/ and that's the sort of stuff I like.

Well, you got exactly what I was going to recommend.
Threadless makes really high quality tees, and tagless at that, which is always a plus. I need some more shirts, bad, I'd love to get some more Threadless stuff if I had the scratch.

I am sure to buy some more threadless shirts everytime there's a sale. I think I have ten or so.
I too am in need of some new clothes. I could find new shirts if I tried, it's the pants department I'm lacking in (that sounds terrible).

If you're a hippie like me, Gypsy Rose (http://www.gypsyrose.com/) has some good pants. Other than that, can't help you other than maybe suggesting Old Navy or something?

but.......tuxedo t-shirts do count as apparel in some areas
I really like the shirts they have on threadless too. They threw a kickass concert/party when they opened up their store out here this summer.
My advice.....truly, madly, deeply, is to talk to some girls in your area. Lots of girls like to shop. Most girls know more than guys about fashion. Maybe they know a couple cool little places where you might be able to find what you're looking for. Unless you only encounter old ladies. Then they might direct you to an umbrella store.

Just a though, have you ever considered buying something sustainable? I'm not just talking hemp for hippie tye shirts here but actual nice apparel. I'm just plugging it because I just shopped at this one store and bought a hoddie (50-75% off right now) and it is the most comfy one I've ever had.

Lol, she got that picture from me. I have a pair of those pants (color shades varry from pair to pair.), and they're great. Tho I had to replace the zipper. They're made from recycled clothes from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and they have a stash pocket in the ankle... If you're into that sorta thing...
Can get 'em here (http://www.gypsyrose.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=62132).

Digital Gravel has some outstanding designs out of the hundreds they have.
But I'm glad I'm not into the hip-hop scene because from the looks of it you have to spend a lot of money just to keep up to date with the latest trends. These two publications advertise the most expensive parts of a clothesline – the footwear. I only have an $80 pair for daily use that will last me at least a couple of years.
Format Magazine (http://formatmag.com/)
Complex Magazine (http://www.complex.com/)
I always wonder why people want to look like a floral curtain with those big shirts that have a small pattern without any hemming.(eg) (http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/digitalgravel/the-1161/fifty24sf-jeremy-fish-snake/Detail) Some of them look cool just like how only some men can pull-off pink. (I can wear salmon pretty well :D)
I've noticed that the shirts I like have a vintage fabric to them like this one.

Volcom makes some of the nicest T Shirts around (hats too). They're a surf/skate company, but have alot of cool designs. They do a featured artist series where they print shirts from a different artist every season.
Analog has good fitting, durable jeans. But really, any store that sells jeans is bound to have a style you like and that is comfortable.

They put their prices up because they make their own shirts now instead of printing on el-cheapo hanes or fruit-of-the-loom tees. I'm not sure if their quality is any better but making their own shirts must be costing them more.

Most of my clothes come from; American Eagle, JINX, Threadless, West 49, Sport Check, and other various "apparel" that I find randomly and take a liking to. Basically, if I dig it I'll pick it up wherever it comes from, but the aforementioned are just where I frequent. Really though, I don't have too hard a set style that comes from a select few retailers.
