Although everyone around here knows this, let's not act like it's his fault that it's not working. If someone would have fixed it the first time it was mentioned, he wouldn't have come on here to post this.

LOL
Don't expect this to ever be fixed (along with the systm.org URL, regular updates to shows they promise and whatever else breaks in the future), KRose and co. don't care. They're busy people, you know; nothing will stop them from getting drunk as often as possible. Work comes second to self medication, duh!
They're an amateur operation and always will be, at least with the current management in place.

@Optimus - You seem to hate Kevin Rose & Co. as all you do is rip on them. My question to you, why are you still here? Your negative attitude is nothing but an annoyance.

The truth apparently bothers you?
I was the first one to complain about the .conf files not working. On like day one of this forum being opened. There are still numerous dead links all over the place that have been mentioned (including on this forum.) They obviously don't care. So yea, when the company stops giving a crap about the people who are making them a company, it's pretty annoying.
You'd find more posts about stuff being broken, but, kowgod goes around censoring everyone who complains, and deletes their posts.
Out of site, of of mind, right?

It is not the truth that bothers me. I know that KRose and company don't fulfill promises all the time. But, you know what, thats life. It does very little to sit there and ***** about it.
That being said my comments are less directed at you, crumbles. I understand that it must be frustrating to have your Asterisk set up not work because someone will not fix the broken links. Your post was completely relevant. I take issue with people like optimus. All he does is ***** about Rev3 yet he sticks around here. I am not sure why. Why be affiliated with something you despise?
That is all I have to say on that issue. *****ing online gets you know where. Personally I am able to get my tech fix with DL.tv, TWiT, Diggnation, and Hak5. None of these shows are great, but they entertain me. I watch Systm and theBroken when they come out, but in between episodes I wait patiently. My day isn't ruined if a new episode doesn't come out.

It does very little to sit there and ***** about it.Well, most of us would like to think that complaining about it would do something. If you're statement is true, then there is no real reason to have ANY interaction with the fans at all. If they are "just going to do their own thing anyway, and ignore all the problems fans point out," then delete this damn forum, ya know? Hell, even Jay has been on the forum telling us to tell them about problems. We do, and then they ignore them. They NEVER update us when something goes wrong either. It's really sad.
I said this earlier, but knowgod deleted my post because he is a censoring a-hole, but I'd hate to work for REV3. Can you imagine? Every payday your check is late, never where it's supposed to be, or no explanation as to when you're going to get it. Their business practice with their fans is a reflection of how Jay and crew run the company. I'd hate to be involved with that.

Why be affiliated with something you despise?Well, first, about asterisk. Yea, that's pretty annoying that they are so damn lazy to take 10 seconds out of their day and drag the .conf files on to their FTP server. I mean seriously, that's pathetic. I run multiple websites for companies, and if anyone makes a complaint, I can usually get it fixed within the hour. Usually less. And I'm just one person, not a company. It was OK for them in the start, because everything was new, but they don't have any excuses now.
As for the second part of your statement about telling people to just go away instead of *****ing, I don't really agree with that as well. That's like me telling you to move to China, if you don't like something going on in the US. A more relevant argument would be to fight to change the problem, then either ignore it, or move on. We like the idea they have, we just think there need to be a lot of changes. I mean come on, Jay came in here and told everyone that the reason Diggnation was late, was because no one noticed. Are you kidding me? No one bothered to take 1 second on the launch day to see if their sweet auto-script worked?
Just my two cents.

I agree with what you said, but I think a distinction needs to be made between constructive complaining/ideas and straight up *****ing.
I hate to keep picking on him, but optimus has said many times things to the effect of "Don't expect anything to happen ever, Kevin Rose doesn't care at all."
I feel that there is a better approach to getting what you want then that. I respect your opinions, crumbles. When it comes down to it we both basically want the same thing; this 'company' to be run like a company.
