I'm home early on a Thursday for the first time in a long time so I'm gonna check out this Supernatural show the kids are watching on the ol CW. Any of you guys watch this show or are a fan let me know if its a waste of time.

I'm a big fan of it. But I don't think anyone else on the board is from what I've seen in other threads and in the IRC. Tonight's episode was on par for what the show is like. If you're on the fence I think next weeks will be really good. But I've been told many times that my taste sucks so don't go by what I say about anything.

I watched it for like the first half of the first season. It's fairly good, I had to quit because I got busy on thursday nights.

i watch it, i admit it. it is kind of nice this season that they have the bar as a "main base." the different city every episode was getting old. i hope the blond girl stays as a love interest as i am sick of all the pretty boys.

I kinda liked it, it doesn't seem as smartly written as some other shows, but i still digg it. I need something to replace the Blade series for me. It started off a little crappy but became a show i was looking forward to during the summer. Too bad i was the only one watching apparently .

MuleD I'm disappointed you don't remember our brief IRC chat about it. I distinctly remember you being anxious to see if the car survived the crash in the Season 1 finale. :p

Personally I love the show. It has some Monster-of-the-week elements to it, but still manages to keep a long-term story arc running through it, which is what I liked about "Buffy". The boys are easy on the eyes, too. :D

I'm disappointed that they dropped the "Colt" storyline though... it reminded me of a comic series I read. They could have done a lot with it. Oh well.

I think you were the only one that I remember liking it but looks like there's a few more. My mom liked it and got me into it. I like it cause of the car, the music, and the horror/monster side of it.

I'm betting the Colt and the Father will pop up again. I just get the feeling that dead isn't always dead in a show called Supernatural. Atleast I hope so I liked the old man.

I like this show as well, I havent seen last nights episode yet but like previously said I really like how they are using the bar as a base and Ash and Jo need to stick around.

I was really excited for the second season to start because I knew they could take more risks. Sure enough, a head gets chopped off in the first episode.

Besides, I'm in love with Sam. I loved him when he was Dean on Gilmore Girls and I love him now. He's beauuuutiful.

I love how the guy who played their dad is always typecast as the dude who died but was such a good guy. He's the dad from Weeds, he was Denny on Grey's Anatomy, and he was the dad here. Can't wait to see where he'll die next

I still put my money on that he'll be back. But I do find it amusing that he always ends up dead.

Yes! Jeffrey Dean Morgan is definately one of my favourite older man fetish objects!! He was also in The O.C. Monk, Tru Calling and CSI but I don't think he died in all of them...

I'm definitely a big Supernatural fan, but I only got into it a short time ago. I had heard lots of good things about it, so I checked it out one day and was immediately hooked. I mean, seriously, Ghostbusters with shotguns! And you can't go wrong with that sweet black Impala of theirs and that never ending golden soundtrack!

Did anyone else catch the "commercial" during this last ep where Jared Padalecki (Sammy) was playing Guitar Hero two against whoever's playing the Green Arrow on Smallville? Beat him with one broken arm... I'm not sure if I should be impressed, or annoyed. :D

Deen trapped the demon in a devils circle and made a deal with her if she called of the hound he wouldn't perform an execisom her. After the deal was made she called him stupid for not saving his dad and the demon left the girls body.

So new episode tonight. I liked it .. ecspecially the little escape with the impala. And I knew they were going to cut away at the end before Dean said what Papa told him but man does that shit piss me off.

Last nights episode was really awesome and had an excellent premise, I just wish it had been longer so the ending didnt feel quite as rushed but still awesome episode and whoever that guy was at the end (Croatoan maybe?) but I think some shit is going to go down in the second half of the season, but I really wanted a teaser like what Smallville had.

Ya I thought the teaser from the last ep was a teaser for the next 4 or so eps but it looks like most of the teaser was just for this ep. The blood virus will probably pop up again but I was hoping for a longer arc with it. It did seem a bit rushed.

That was the same actress who played Ginger in "Ginger Snaps". I vote evil. Just 'cause I know she does a good evil. :P
