So was anyone particularly excited by the GoW2 announcement? The XNA game development information seemed pretty cool, but from a pure gaming announcement standpoint I think Microsoft failed to deliver.

I'm certainly more excited to be getting Mario Kart and Wii Fit in Europe in April! I'm also very jealous that the USA is getting WiiWare in May.

For me the debut trailer for GOW 2 was seriously underwhelming. It felt like they really had nothing to show and just wanted to get something out. The idea of duelling with the chainsaw, that was showing in the trailer, could create a cool mini game in multiplayer. Aside from that there little else to get excited for GOW 2.

I'm happy to see something, anything, about Gears 2. Yeah, the trailer is about a basic as you can get, but I'm excited for it. But I tell you this, that game will have to really blow my mind to get me away from Call of Duty 4.

I'm excited about Gears. A lot of people weren't expecting an announcement at GDC because it's for developers so I'm okay with what was talked about. Really excited about Gears tho.

I've played some of the XNA games on live, like Dishwasher Dead Samurai which is awesome.

Also N+ is a lot more fun than I expected.

Bah, people need to stop using acronyms so much unless their fingers are broken...I was wondering why they were announcing an old game and how they figured on chainsaws in ancient greece.

Agreed, the GoW acronym is already taken, Microsoft needs to come up with their own, lest I become dissapointed again.

Though Kratos with a chainsaw would be pretty badass...

I loved the announcement that "Wipeout HD" is coming exclusively to the PSN. I've always loved those games and can't wait to get it.

Gears 2 could be pretty sweet. Hopefully its innovating upon what has already been done, not just a small makeover. I just had an urge to play it through again in co-op because of how much fun the experience was. If they hit that release date it will be pretty impressive in itself in this era of pushbacks.

I'm also interested to hear/see more from Fable 2. They were discussing on 1up yours that they got to see a longer demo of it yesterday.

And obviously I'm REALLY excited about in-game XMB coming soon, hopefully. :D

I agree with your agreement. It drives me nuts when people in the same sub-culture use the same acronym for two different things. Just wait until next year when Nintendo releases the spiritual successor to Duck Hunt: Geese of War.

As for the teaser itself: I'm not too excited. They're going to have to bring it with more than just a chainsaw bayonet in order to keep me interested. The bar has been raised. Can you at least give me a button so I can jump over it without having to trust your contextual "action button" nonsense?
