Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to put this, however there is a new product on the market that could possibly change the way average people do podcasting. The product is the Zoom H4 Handy Recorder. The idea with this is, you can take it, put in some batteries, pop in an sd card (up to 2 gb right now I believe) and you have yourself a professional recorder. There are two stereo condenser mics built in, meaning, out in the field you could get 'true' stereo. There are two mic inputs that are professional inputs, you can also run more condensers using phantom power. This thing is packed with features, and I really don't know whether this is the kind of thing inDigital can showcase, but I can see the potential already for it's uses (My church just purchased one, so I 'have' used it). The software is a little bit sketchy to work with and you get like 15 mp3 exports (unlimited wavs), or you can pay 10 bucks to get unlimited mp3 export. I may sound like I'm rambling, but it's just an amazing product with almost nearly endless potential. If you do review it, one thing to note is that we've had problems with it not saving correctly while saving it (unless you save the project) and for some reason on the laptop we've been using it would use the laptop mic (built in) instead of the device to record, (as if it changes the settings every time we start up the software, but reinstalling the audio software seemed to do the trick).
Again, apologies for a long ramble, but perhaps a link to the corporate product page would be best to sum it up. Find some other products as well, it'd be nice to see comparisons!

(the price is supposedly going to be $500 retail, the first 2 weeks it was like $300, but still not a bad price)
Thanks,
P
