It's almost here, and is in testing right now. This game is going to be one of the big reasons to get in to PC gaming next year

good call, it looks amazing! I'm really glad that they're doing that, but I'll be more happy when a new Red Alert 2 comes out. From the looks of it they could simply use the same engine.

I mostly missed the pre-generals C&C, but I liked what I saw. wasn't red alert sort of an expansion pack? what did you especially like about that one?

To be honest I didn't play a great deal of the original Red Alert. I tried, but it's so low tech that I couldn't do it. What I love though is Red Alert 2, and the add-on Red Alert 2 Yuri's revenge.
Red Alert 2 is a full game, Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge is an add-on.
The thing I love about Red Alert 2 is that it's so damn funny. There are a whack load of live action bits that are really over the top.
