converting audio files

Anyone know a good free audio file converter? Got a bunch of .ogg files I wanna put on my iPod.

What platform? There's a long list of 3rd party software on the Ogg Vorbis site:

But if that's too much to go through, here's a head-fi post on this very subject with some recommendations:

Max (http://sbooth.org/Max/) (for Mac OS X) actually looks pretty sweet... I'll have to give it a try...

Though really I want to say boo to Apple for no Ogg support on the iPod! GRRR!

Thanks superann, running Vista 32bit btw, decided on using foobar. Works great.
