Recommendations for TV, etc set up

Hi All

I've got an unexpected chunk of change and I'm going to upgrade my TV, etc. I've done some research and have come up with what seems to be a reasonable balance between cost and functionality but wanted your input based on the collective wisdom of the group.

I was thinking the Sony KDL-46XBR4. it an expensive TV but has got very good reviews.

Playstation 3 as my games console and DVD / blu-ray player.

Soundbar rather than a surround system. I don't want wires trailing and I can't hide them.

The only thing I can say is make sure SD looks good on your TV, but besides that I don't see anything wrong (Well maybe the PS3, but for DVD and Bluray it's pretty damn good).
