Just finished listening to all of it. 10/10. Just a great set of instrumental discs. Trent and Atticus are great together and Alessandro and Adrian's additions just make it better.

Very enlightening album ... stuff like this really gets me into more instrumental music. My favorite song from this album would be 14 Ghosts II.

Does anyone know of any songs and/or albums similar to this NIN release?

First I should say I downloaded the free one, I'm going to go back and get the $5 (great price point). But I'm kind of with you, as far as comparing it to other music, for me it falls short. But having it as ambient music for say a pen and paper RPG it's great.

my first thought on my first listen was 'this reminds me of 'echoes' by pink floyd

I picked up the $5 download on 3/7 just after midnight. Had no issues downloading it and thought it went pretty quick. I didn't even know about it till I heard them play Ghosts I on the radio station I listen to. So I got it that night.

I love how Trent gets it. The way he's releasing this and offering it DRM free is the way it should be. The album is wonderful, I'm really getting into it. It reminds me of Further Down the Spiral a bit. I'm debating getting the $75 version as well now, though I don't have a blu-ray player yet. But I would like to play around with the songs in GarageBand.

I haven't heard that comparison before... a lot of people were leaning towards Selected Ambient Works Volume II by Aphex Twin.

I listened to the whole thing, and damn, it's so excellent, so soothing, so perfect. I recommend to get the 5 buck package.

I wonder what parnership they're getting ready to announce?

who?

I ordered the $10 packaged...cause I like physical media. I hadn't noticed it was only instrumentals at the time, but it's good aural stimulation.
