It is not loading now at all both forums and website most the time and is VERY VERY VERY SLOW when it does work and double posts.

Thank god, its not just me. I was getting very upset at my internet.

I'll assume they're just tweaking the site. Oh well.

Interesting, when I first visited the site tonight I had no problems, I was able to post a response. After I posted it was as if I was stuck in tar. I closed my browser, Firefox, and went and did something else. I then came back after maybe three to five minutes and my speed was fine, responded to another thread and back to being stuck in tar. Close the browser and reopen and visit other sites and then I could come back here and everything is fine. BTW, all the other sites operated normally, no speed issues, so I do think it is this site.

Did someone forget to feed the hamsters running the server?

(BTW, I am running XP Home, SP2, current version of Firefox 2 on a cable connection.)

OK, after I posted this things seem to be running normal. Did someone find more Dilithium crystals?

Now Wikipedia is going super slow, which has me doubting myself, but everything else is running fine.

seems rev3 main site has some chatroom added and had some live show...I am willing to bet that is why this site is crawling right now.

Please drop the embedded chat

There were issues stemming from the popsiren announcement showing up on digg.com. It's fixed now, though it will likely continue to be slow as long as we're still on digg's front page. They're working on upgrading to handle the increase in viewers, but please be patient until those changes take effect.

The feeds in iTunes aren't downloading or connecting. It's really annoying.

Woops. I was the one who submitted that story to digg. :) -- Sorry. But then again, if I didn't submit, someone else would have and the problem still would have occurred.

Haha, no worries. We want it to get dugg, for sure. No such thing as too much attention (for the most part...). ;)

It kinda turned into Schroedinger's Server. It wasn't dead, but it definitely wasn't alive.

So is the digg effect also killing the downloads?

I can't seem to watch any of the vids. I've tried the new System 41 in both wmv and divx format for downloading but they both just stalled out. And I tried the rock band show video on the website player which also just sists there stalled out. All links go to www.podtrac.com and if I try to go to www.podtrac.com the browser just stalls out too with a connection timeout.

Digg is really causing this much of a problem?

Try downloading the wmv using this link (http://bitcast-a.bitgravity.com/revision3/web/systm/0041/systm--0041--tennis--large.wmv) or the Xvid using this link (http://bitcast-a.bitgravity.com/revision3/web/systm/0041/systm--0041--tennis--large.xvid.avi).

That works. Thanks Chuckles! (Admitedly I should have thought of that myself... maybe I should of had a v8.)
