Hey Guys -
I'm taking the news Gary Gygax's passing pretty hard. Harder than I would have thought. But when I think of all the hours, nay YEARS, of enjoyment D&D and all things Fantasy Gaming has given me I have to give a lot of the credit to this man. Its hard for me to imagine what life would have been like without D&D or something related filling my awkward development years and carrying over into the core of my identity. Call me a geek, its ok, I know I'm in good company!
That said, I feel like I need to do something to show just how much I've appreciated Gary's creation. I think it would be Totally Rad if the TRS Guild could gather up enough people on Executus for a collective /wave in honor of Gary. I screen cap of this would make my day and help me truly feel Gary is appreciated!
Thanks for everything you guys do! You really are Totally Rad!

PS I'm wearing my dice bag on my belt loop all this week to show in in mourning

I hope I hear back.

He was so close to level 70. :(
I loved his voice over work in Dungeons and Dragons Online. It made it feel like I was sitting in someones kitchen, on an epic made up adventure. Just cause his voice was so nerdy.

I'm bummed.
My first D&D character was a dwarf named Gygax.

Just started playing D&D again recently after a fifteen year hiatus, and just as much fun as it ever was. Very sad news.
