I wouldn't be surprised if your ISP caught on and was packet-shaping traffic from Rev3. ISPs hate when customers actually have the audacity to USE their connections in a manner that the ISP doesn't like, for example, downloading large video files that aren't hosted by your particular content provider.

I think that pretty much explains it. Comcast has been known for fucking over BitTorrent downloads so if they are packet shaping Rev3 I don't think anyone would be shocked. Pissed off but not shocked.

same here...in fact I can download older shows at around 475k like I used to, but new shows I'm lucky to get 75k-125k. I figured there was just too much demand for those shows at the time.
Edit: I haven't the slightest, now I can occasionally get high rates but mostly get low...no matter the file.

One thing I didn't consider is that Trent Reznor has irreparably broken part of the internet when he unleashed Ghosts I-IV and half the internet instantly gave him many dollars and his server (and possibly an entire colo) ate it's own tail.

That is not what is Comcast has been accused of doing. You may actually want to do some research before reading what the teenie-weenies on Digg have to say. Comcast uses Canadian invented Sandvine software to peer and block packets that are being seeded by torrents. They do this only because they have ties with Hollywood and the government's copyright laws and will get paid if they help them. I care more about the fact that Comcast has invaded my privacy, but libs and neocons are far more concerned with fictitious copyright laws and giving them telecom immunity for help fighting the war on terror with their wiretapping and use taxpayer money to pay for their cables that benefit corporations. If you aren't downloading 200GB a month then Comcast won't bother you.
