Playswitch.com is a great alternative for getting rid of your games. Now you no longer have to settle for the shitty store credit prices that game stores give you. Its a social site where you can list all the games you have and all the games you want and swap you games with other people.

I just heard about this site on the Sarcastic Gamer Podcast. I decided to give it a shot. i must say its freakin awesome. I bought Ratchet and Clank:FTOD when it first came out. I played thru it a few times and collected everything. I didn't have any use for the game after this but I didn't want to get a low ball price at gamestop for trade. Within two days of joining playswitch I have made a straight across trade of this game for Unreal Tournament 3. The site still has a few kinks here and there with the interface but its defiantly got the right idea. Trading game for game is free but if you want you can trade a game for a game and switchbucks (switchbucks is the currency the site uses 1 switchbuck = 1 dollar)

I'm starting to sound like and infomercial so i will just end by saying check the site out. It's really cool.

I heard about Playswitch through the same podcast. I was actually able to trade my UT3 for Uncharted and I'm working on getting rid of a few more games. But your right, it's a good service, except you have to pay for shipping (which isn't very much at all) but there are other sites that offer the same service but offer Free Shipping.

Personally I'm a fan/user of goozex.com. Same idea as playswitch where you trade can trade your games with other users except its complete automated and you trade your game for goozex points and then trade goozex points for games. I've used it for over a year now, and love it. After buying a couple of games from the store to start my collection, I've never had to pay for a video game again. Only negative is that you basically have to wait a month after a game releases to get it. But over all its a great service.
