I was thinking about getting it but my buddy picked up conan instead so I guess my next game will be Force unleashed. None of my other friends play 360 as much as I do :(

I'm waiting for a demo first. It looks like it could be good, but I've heard some bad things about it.

Probably going to rent it this weekend and see how it is. I'll go from there as to whether I'm going to purchase it or not.

I'm only interested in this game for the co-op experience. I'm gonna see about renting it this weekend and taking it to my friends house for some split-screen co op. (There IS split-screen, right? I heard there's no LAN play...)

From what i read, you can play single player with AI, Split Screen, or with someone else via XBL

Taken from PA:
"Just got back from the store with two copies of Army of Two, my mind already blossoming with mercenary exploits, when it suddely became clear that the game has no local play option. No local play option. Even on the same Goddamned LAN, both accounts need to be Gold Tier Live accounts. You seriously have got to be fucking kidding me.

I got the game and I have only played it for 5 minutes or so (that will all change come the weekend) but from what I have played so far it reminds me alot of gears.

Well I did get to try it co-op with my friend tonight, and it was actually kind of fun. Wasn't sure what to expect, really, with EA developing it and all.
In the beginning it seems like its gonna be a really complicated game, but you get used to it pretty quickly. The game has some pretty neat ideas and game mechanics.

I bought it two days ago and I gotta say, I'm actually really enjoying it. I went into it thinking it was gonna be one big escort mission, but boy was I wrong. It's really fun when you and your partner get on a roll and start taking out dozens of guys. Also, you GOTTA LOVE THE IN-GAME CONVERSATIONS between the two. HILARIOUS!.
One I just heard went something like this.....
Radio - "You guys were the only ones able to find Al-Hassad's base!"
Salem - "Ha ha, hey man, you know everything"
Rios - "Just call me Miss. Cleo" (in a Jamaican accent)
That LITERALLY had me LAUGHING OUT LOUD. :D
Plus, at any time you can break out your air guitars. :D Gotta love it. I've yet to try online co-op yet but it ought to be fun.

All this game was is the aggro mechanic, a somewhat novel enemy AI aspect, and that's all. There was nothing else positive about the game. The rest of the game was just maddening. Awful protagonists, that just pissed me off and I did not want to be involved with. A basic story, with potential that was ruined by execution and presentation. The saving grace of the game is playing it co-op with a friend, but I can't really even give the game credit for that.
If i was a reviewer I would have trashed this game. Given it a 5.9 or something.

Do people not play games for fun anymore? I couldn't care less about the story if it does have a fun co-op.
