What is your prefered music service? I use music.yahoo.com launchcast. The thing that I don't like about it is the commercials? Is there anything better?

Well now, don't get me wrong now, but I am a longtime fan of emule, and was a member of a few sites that were "removed" and as for BT, I cannot say enough about it. But sometimes I like to just go to launchcast and listen to music or watch videos. The thing I don't like about it is the commercials, and before I add yet another bill onto my plate, I would like to know if there are any other legal ones out there without 30 to 40 seconds of commercials everytime I pick a new song.

This is amusing and all, but I seriously doubt that I will have much of anything to learn about pirating anything from anyone here. That is totally not the question I am asking.

Hmm... I just don't think this is the right crowd to ask about legally doing-- anything.
But if you must know, Amazon.com. I like to buy my music in CD form.
High quality sound, no DRM, and you get a shiny disk. You can't go wrong!

Have you checked out Urge? They don't have music videos, but it's alot like yahoo's music service where you pay 15 bucks a month and get to download all that you want. There is a free trial you can check out through Windows Media Player 11, and it works pretty much the same as itunes only it's subscription based. I did the trial and loved the service since I found myself downloading and listening to alot of new artists since I had the option to get it quickly at a good quality, but I'm just not keen on the whole your music stops working if you stop paying deal. As far as music videos, I think yahoo is your best bet there, I know of no other service.
And it's not particularly what you're asking for, but I'm a huge fan of lala.com where you can trade CDs (like barterbee but focused on music) And hey, they even give you a free t-shirt for every new member you reccomend!
