Saw this weeks show, and I got to admit...what's with all the people still using DVD Decrypter?

To my knowledge, the authors had to kill the project due to legal reasons. As a result, didn't they rename the program and continue development under imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com)?

Because it can still decrypt movies that ImTOO and DVD Shrink can't. (Chronicles of Narnia for instance) I'll definitely give Imgburn a shot though. :)

edit: ImgBurn doesn't work with copy protected media, so screw that.

(note: I'm ripping my collection to play on my Zune.)

when i had problems with anydvd.. i would use dvddecrypter and it would work fine for me.. which is funny cause anydvd gets updated.. but dvddecrypter doesnt.. but still works with all dvds i wanted to copy..
so why should i pay for something that works sometimes.. when i can use something for free that works all the time.. i dunno i dont copy much stuff anyways..

The reason for that is probable a case of how much can they change the encryption before it no longer works on your typical stand-alone player?
Thus DVDdecrypter will likely work until SD-DVDs are no longer sold.

Anydvd and CloneDVD2 is all you need.

Note: DVD43 and Nero Recode seem to work quite well together. Only problem is that Nero will only encode to .mp4, so you will have to use a seperate program to encode it to your codec of choice. I ended up using Avidemux (linked on the doom9 website). I'll let you know how well that turns out.
