You'd add and subtract to characters from each list seperately, then once we narrow it to five from each we can reset all of their scores and combine the lists.

Flash has been pretty consistently good for the last decade, excepting Waid's current run, which has been almost universally panned. Also, Flash has the best costume of the three.

Oh, I reckon it's not so much that I hate the Flash. It's just that I don't get him. I'm really only a recent convert to anything DC, but Green Lantern, from a cursory glance, just strikes me as a much more interesting character than the Flash. I'm not saying you all are wrong, just pulling for my boy. When I look at the Flash I see a guy who runs fast. When I look at Green Lantern I see a guy with the most powerful weapon in the universe who's a member of a universe spanning police force. It just seems like a deeper mine to extract stories from. That said, all of this loyalty towards fast running guy has made me finally interested in going back to check out these Flash stories that everyone seems to love so much.

That said, I still ain't voting for the guy.
