Just watched the latest episode and man... what happened?

Get rid of the background music, bring back the original theme song and get the old set back.... if you can't get the set back then at least get better backgrounds... I mean, come on, this is Bert, Photoshop master/genius/guru .... he needs better backgrounds!!

The show took a turn for the worse now that Rev3 is producing it...

Fix it! This is one of the best shows on Rev3!

I hardly ever watched PP but I have to say that theme music leaves a lot to be desired.

Another thing i saw was that when he mad the circle for the eye tutorial he said it was a circle but it looked like an ellipse on the hd vid. I think the video was stretched when making it windscreen or something so everything looks stretched. Another thing i noticed is that when they did the screen capture of Berts mac desktop you could tell that they were recording a tv. I would suggest using ScreenFlow to record the desktop and capture the video without having to record a tv.

I have to agree. You guys need some better screen capture techniques. It's okay for now for some quick and dirty but I think in the future you should look into cleaning that up.

They could do a scan out from the computer straight into the switcher but they did it this way to be able to zoom and stuff... (check out the gazette)

You can zoom with desktop recorders too...

yes... I think they wanted to do it live though straight into the switcher. I think their studio is set up to do whole screen shots dead easilly but zooming like this probably made sense with the camera... It is also possible to zoom in FCP but... Also zooming in screen capture software would probably have meant either post production or bert stopping to zoom...

Either way, I think they are trying to avoid screen capture software... and so would I, though I do think zooming onto a screen like that is easy but messy...
