I'm just curious how the intros to revision3 are made?
They all seem to have a Similar feel.
ps I like the style ;)

I'm guessing After Effects.

Probably After Effect (with a lot of plugins), also Final Cut Studio 2 for all cool effects.

I don't think YouTube tutorials will give you the skillz you need in order to make something like that. Trust me... I've tried :(

You just have to learn the basic principles and then take what you learned and play... build upon the basics you learned.

Like Bert Monroy says... "PLAY PLAY PLAY!"

So I guess finding an mp3 file for each of the opening sequences wouldn't be possible?

making an MP3 of the intros should be fairly easy.
Just get male to male audio jack and audacity

Then record and use Lame to take the project and convert into Mp3

The ladies on popSiren said something about the title music being made available soon for that show in mp3 format.

Here is a link for that show: http://revision3.com/blog/2008/03/20/download-the-popsiren-theme-song

If more ask, maybe the others will be made available as well.

You could avoid all that and simple use any of the many programs available to convert the video to audio only and save to mp3. I can't think of any off the top of my head but there are plenty of them out there. Usually any software that converts, for example, videos to ipod will have a video to audio option.

Just checked his vimeo site, and in one of his comments he said
"I use Cinema 4D for my 3d stuff".

So there you have it.

Happy pirating!:)

Wouldn't it be easier just to download an episode in mp3 format then? (For the shows that are available in mp3, which I believe is most of them?)

And I was thinking of getting just the intro without any of the talking intro stuff "Welcome to Diggnation #.." etc. coming in.

For example, if you get the TWiT intro, it's longer than what's played then faded out into the show.

I hope I made some sort of sense... :o

Yeah you could do that too but I think diggnation is the only Rev3 show that's released in mp3 format.
