http://digg.com/apple/iPhone_Pro (I didn't submit this story, it pertains to my rant)

Ok...whats going on? Sure at the end of Kevin's iPhone rumor he quickly said "don't submit this to digg". But digg is about what the community thinks is cool! In 15 hours, that story had 92 diggs...but it had disappeared off of the "Apple Upcoming" section. In its place was a story with about 70 diggs, that had been submitted over 20 hours ago!

We're a fan of diggnation...but there wouldn't be any diggnation without digg.com! Does anyone else find it strange that a story Kevin didn't want submitted mysterically "dissapeared"? Digg it up and lets see what happens!

Its simply a rumor, and honestly I see why Kevin doesn't want to put it up on his site.

Well, that's the last time anyone lets him in on any insider information... or the last time he shares any of it on diggnation. Good work, digg.

Also, the article in completely inaccurate. He didn't 'confirm' anything. That alone is enough to get the story pulled.

Last time he gave a rumor I think the only thing he got right was the iPhone will be a phone.

But we shall see!

You must not know why Kevin started digg. It isnt HIS site, its the communities site. WE are supposed to decide what goes and what stays, not Kevin or anyone else.

Lol no I know quite well why he started it, but would you want someone creating an article saying that "its confirmed by Kevin Rose etc and his sources"? No way.

That rumor was pretty anti-climactic.

3G in the next iPhone? People have been predicting this since it came out.

As for the camera on the front, the LG Shine has it and HSDPA.

So while it is probably true, it's not that exciting, which is why it's not going huge on Digg.

Dear Apple:

I will buy the iPhone V2 if, and only if you release an unlocked version.

He wasn't completely wrong, he did say 4 and 8 GB's. And that it was going to be small as shit.

Wait a minute, doesnt your 3g phones have video chat in the US? I've been able to video chat with other 3g phones since i got my first one back in 2005. How is that even a rumor?

last night on his twitter account he said:

"another person confirming iphone rumors w/me (high lvl VP at a big company that works w/Apple) - "it will ship in June w/3G and GPS""

Probably dugg down for inaccuracy. And i'm not sure, but the camera in front might be a 3G requisite. All 3G phones i know have it.
Nothing ground breaking there.

What's ground breaking is that the damned thing is still not released in the netherlands :(

So here in Australia, we still await the iPhone's launch. Telstra - the largest phone provider in Aus is expected to get the iPhone.

One problem, Telstra aren't adding any non-3G or Next-G devices to there network.

So the prediction is, Apple release a 3G iPhone mid year, then announce it's Australian release.

Finger crossed, because I'll be lining up the first day they go on sale.

Like before, people will believe the iPhone is the "first revolutionary" device to do this even though it isn't. People are stupid.
