Is the segment that Discovery shot going to air?

They have a new series called, "Download: The True Story of the Internet," so is it going to air during one of those episodes?

Yes, it was actually on a couple weeks ago, there were four parts to the series, Kevin was in the last one, called "People Power", but very very briefly. Digg did get referenced throughout the show, but the only clips from the interview with Kevin and Jay were at the top of the show. Check your local listings for details, it was on Discovery Science channel.

I forgot all about it since they talked about it forever but it never aired now hearing I missed it..damn though more people would bring it up or give a warning..ah well.

I saw it like 3 weeks ago, their "segment" was short but compared to the other companies they gave them about the same time. Except for facebook, those dudes got a lot of time.

I got home from work last night, turned the tv on and flipped through a couple channels....and stopped short on Discovery when I saw Kevin sitting there. I was very, very confused for a minute, and then I remembered this whole thing.

I was doing other things and didn't really watch it but yay for them (Digg).

At the Beach Chalet taping, supposedly Discovery was there. if the part that aired was just of Kevin and Jay and no audience, then I'm glad. No risk of my fat ass being shown among the members. I already would rather forget that I'm clearly visible at the MacWorld 2007 taping. Ugh.

I don't recall them showing any clips of Diggnation live shows or anything - just some shots of Kevin and Jay standing on a roof (?), and then a couple clips of them talking about Digg in presumably a conference room at the Digg offices, I guess? There's only a couple minutes of them in there at all - most of the episode focused on Facebook, MySpace, Napster, etc....

I hope people realize that even though a camera person shot footage at a live show it does not guarantee that it will be in the final show. Video tape and other media is cheap, better to give the editor more footage then not enough.
