I just finished watching Ep. 42, which was great as always. When Pat mentioned the new set for Systm I couldn't believe it. What is wrong with the workshop? I feel that it not only adds to the whole DIY feel of the show, two guys in a workshop sweating over a project, but it adds authenticity to the show as well. I would much rather see two guys building a Spud gun or MAME cabinet in a workshop than on a professional set. I realize that the logistics of filming maybe a bit more difficult, but what's wrong with the twitchy hand held camera feel of a good DIY show?
And with these thoughts in mind I am declaring my love for the workshop and requesting that the guys continue to use the workshop as their set. Screw the superior audio qualities and lighting control of a sound stage. I want to see scraps of MDF and PVC and spare coils of wire behind my DIY hosts.
