I just finished watching Ep. 42, which was great as always. When Pat mentioned the new set for Systm I couldn't believe it. What is wrong with the workshop? I feel that it not only adds to the whole DIY feel of the show, two guys in a workshop sweating over a project, but it adds authenticity to the show as well. I would much rather see two guys building a Spud gun or MAME cabinet in a workshop than on a professional set. I realize that the logistics of filming maybe a bit more difficult, but what's wrong with the twitchy hand held camera feel of a good DIY show?

And with these thoughts in mind I am declaring my love for the workshop and requesting that the guys continue to use the workshop as their set. Screw the superior audio qualities and lighting control of a sound stage. I want to see scraps of MDF and PVC and spare coils of wire behind my DIY hosts.

The workshop was only ever there for the larger projects as well as a temporary place until the new set was finished. I'm sure you'll get to see the workshop many times in the future, but apart from that, I'm interested to see the updated set get used. They're not always sweating over a project all the time you know. :)
