I thought it was just my file when I was watching it, but I guess it wasn't. Some of the audio cuts seemed odd as well.

Yeah. Audio cuts. You could really tell that Patrick and DRandoplh weren't using the same mics.

Also, the editing was... a bit sloppier this time.

Otherwise, awesome episode!

In all honesty I was a bit sloppy when we shot everything so she had to make me look as good as she could.

Yeah, there were some rendering issues that I'm fixing right now including that one.

nice episode. Initially I thought it seemed a little sloppy but mostly it was a good job. I suspect you were probably distracted by the gotomeeting ad screwup (I know if I have a problem like that when editing video I tend to make other mistakes due to frustration/distraction)

So good job, can't ait to see those new things that you can't mention!

Just started watching the episode and I'm predicting an epic fail, metal cast + clear coat = fail cracked paint job. I know from experience now I got a bare metal case lol!

Well not to bad you didn't use clear :P or did you??

I used the same metal cast paint on my case it looked great but the silver base coat showed when I peeled back the mask from the satin black bottom coat. I decided I would do a pin stripe around the flames and then clear coat it to cover the silver. Well it looked great till the clear went on, after that the paint started cracking and bubbling up :(

I really enjoyed this episode. I am not a weekly watcher of systm, but I really enjoyed this episode. I don't know why but having Patrick and Dave both hosting really made a difference for me. This show really needs to have two host all the time. And these guys work great onscreen. I hope to see more shows with these guys togeather in the future.

(I enjoyed the sort of rivalry they had going on.)

I find using automotive paint, 2 part or enamel, along with the proper reducer and an airbrush provide the best results.

Oh BTW I never use 2000 grit on primer, but it is good to use between coats of paint. then a buffer on the final clear coat.

What has been up lately with the large XviD encodes? this weeks looked terrible.

Sorry, my fault. There should be at least new xvids coming. The xvids for systm, specifically, come from a two stage transcode. ProRes->HD packed in an AVI->XviD. This should be fixed in the future to a simple HDV->XviD encode. Sometimes these things just slip through the quality control.

Awsome episode but I found the intros outros and commericals to be much too loud. I had to run back to my computer to turn the show down often.

Rev3 needs to do something to equalize the audio on some of their shows. Every time the theme music starts I about go deaf. Have to turn it down, then turn it back up when they start talking again. I notice this on Systm and Diggnation. Thought it was just my iPod, but I get the same when I watch it on the big screen off my PS3. Come on guys help save our eardrums and turn down that theme music a notch or 2. Ok? Thx.
