From a quick glance at the Wikipedia for The Totally Rad Show, I didn't appear as though the guys reviewed In Bruges. Have you guys (Alex, Jeff, Dan, forum people, etc.) seen it and what did you think? I thought it was surprisingly great and was curious what other people thought.

Saw it a few weeks back. I thought it was great. I think it was supposed to a limited release so that's probably why they didn't cover it, but I'd love to hear what they thought, if they did see it.

I wanted to see it but I thought since the trailer was so funny that the movie wouldn't be funny until those parts came up. But sounds like it would be my kind of movie. Maybe one of the indie theaters around here is playing it.

This movie is great. It was easily stronger than the trailer. This one is my favorite of the year so far. I will definitely by adding this one to my collection.

Just go see the movie, don't see the trailer. The trailer makes you think the movie is something completely different than what it is.

I loved this movie. I saw it close to a month ago after hearing about it on NPR. I hadn't seen the trailor. I think the writer/director, Martin McDonagh, normally writes plays that have the same sort of "feel" of this movie. By that, I mean making you laugh at these somewhat disturbing instances that you probably wouldn't normally laugh about. I haven't seen any of his plays but I really enjoyed In Bruges and can't wait for it to become a part of my collection! :D

Wow. I just emailed the guys about this last night.
I loved In Bruges, saw it twice (once at a screening for free, then I paid for it). Thought the performances made the film, especially Ralph Fiennes. If you haven't seen this, go out and get it once it gets on DVD. Really should have been more popular. Terrific film.

It was one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I can't imagine it not finishing #1 for 2008 on my list.
I would probably give it the oscar if it was mine to give, especially considering something "tasteless" like The Departed won.

I took some of my friends that normally watch movies like 10,000 BC and Never Back Down to see In Bruges and they all loved it. In Bruges is really genre bending filled amazingness.

In Bruges is one of the best films of the year, its like snatch and pulp fiction squished together for ultimate goodness. Its dark, funny, and violent. the performances are amazing with Colin Farrell's best performance ever i feel. If anyone has this movie playing by you its a must see.

I'd say 10,000 BC was a definite mistake for you personally, but one you had to make for the good of the show.
From what I've heard CJ7 is a mistake, though it's one I'm likely to make myself. I can't pass up the opportunity to see a Stephen Chow film in the theater.
I feel pretty confident in saying you'll love In Bruges once you see it. So many reasons that movie should top out the rad-o-meter.

If you think In Bruges is a Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels clone then you either haven't seen it or you were on hallucinogens at the time. Yes, there are criminals, and yes, there are people speaking english with non-american accents, but that's where the comparison breaks down.

Just saw this movie, and it was terrific. I was really, really pleasantly surprised. If I could figure out a genre for this movie I'd easily place it in the top 5 of it.
Great movie.

I went and saw it with a bunch of my friends. It was midday so everyone else in the theater was above 50 and I have no idea why they were even watching the movie, but we were laughing the entire time while they sat there in shock.

Just because "old folks" don't express their appreciation as obviously as you young'uns doesn't mean they weren't entertained. I'm an "above 50" and I loved it. Thought it was clever and very funny. Saw it in the middle of the day too.
Maybe when you're "above 50" you'll understand. Live that long and the edges get smoothed some.

When I went about half the people took it as a comedy, laughing a lot, and the other half took it as a drama, laughing very sparingly. I feel it has something for everybody.

I loved it but as I was walking out of the theater I kind of felt like a bad person for liking it as much as I did. It's definitely dark.

I just saw this last night. The trailer totally did not convey what the movie was about what soever. On that note i love the movie. I think the comedy was just right, and the nice mixture of the very serious events played very well. And as always Colin Ferrel makes me proud to be Irish.
I just rented this last night and I have to say that it must be one of the best movies so far in 2008. Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell are great together on screen. And the score! I want to know what DannyT thinks of the score, I thought it was simply beautiful and mesmerizing.

Trailer definitely seems to be made for a different movie. I saw this last night too and I don't know if I like it or not. I mean, I did, but I saw it thinking it to be this other movie and I didn't get what I wanted. But what I got was good.

Don't you think they sorta pitched this film as a comedy? -- I pretty sure it's
even listed on Netflix as so -- but it really is not. No the less I loved it.
I saw it twice so I could show my girlfriend how good it turned out to be so
good!!

Not a comedy? I laughed my ass off in that movie.

It's definately a comedic film, like Snatch was. Same style too.
It was Ferrell's best performance in a LONG long time. Amazing cast, awesome film. I loved it when I saw it a month back.
