Making a Web Service

Hey guys, I am interested in making a web service. If you could do a web service, what would you do. Take into consideration that the market will have little to no competition and it has to be something that would draw people that for the most part only use the internet for email. Basically something useful, that will bring many people to use it and evangelize them to the usefulness of web services. I'm looking for some serious counsel here. Thanks.

Edit: I should say that I have one thing in mind, but it could be the case that I would be better off placing emphasis elsewhere or doing more than one thing is also a possibility. I am looking for knowledge and insight as well, so even if you by chance could very much help me in actually making my web app but are too busy and are willing to simply talk with me to help me understand just what it means, then please, let me know. Actually, I thought I made this in the general section, that's what happens when you're hella sick and stuffed with meds combined with multiple tabs in firefox. I have been hanging out in GD today in any case and made an honest mistake, consider the thread moved, it's meant for the General Section.

They already have that. its along the lines of pr0n0tube[dot]com, change the stuff around and you'll find it. Its free and pretty crappy. Made it on digg several times lol.

In my opinion, The only thing you could do is maybe a easy to use 50gb of free online storage, but make it easy to link to files from, but impossible to use without entering a password to look through folders in an account.
streamload.com/mediamax.com kind of has it down, but they give you 25gb and make it difficult to link the stuff to. Maybe add in a co-branded gmail, google calendar and web page app. you'd have pretty much everything down.
