any Project that use old computer parts?

Hello all I was wondering if you guys got any Projects or ideas about using old computer parts, like 56k modem, floppy disk?

I have seen a lot of people use dead cdroms for the motors, voltage regulators and other parts inside. Even old computer cases can be used for mini shelving and barbeque pits.The case covers flattened out make great work shelf protectors for soldering and the like. Some empty computer crt type monitor cases make great garbage cans, fish tanks, or animal cages.. I am afraid to throw anything away anymore, people keep coming up with ideas to recycle the parts of old equipment.

Well, if you have a dead CD burner, you could always take the lens and zap your neighbor's cat with it. ;) Put it into a flashlight and zap your buddies! :D Hell, use it to make your own laser etcher!
