so this is a topic. List five movies that you loved and really enjoyed, but nobody else appreciates. And if you got half a brain cell, list why you liked that movie. Obviously I am the king of this topic, but there's got to be other people on here who really love a movie but everybody else thinks is dog shit.
1. the Hulk
2. The last samurai
3. Derailed
4. Texas chainsaw massacre: the beginning
5. doom
I'm not gonna clarify why I like these movies I've already posted plenty of shit about it . You guys know why I like these movies, but you better explain yours cause nobody ever ****ing listens to what you say.
oh yeah and I probably got another 30 more movies that I could list but you ****ing short attention span, little kids wouldn't be able to pay attention for that long.

Well, not everyone hates all movies - no matter how bad.
Hudson Hawk got slammed by critics, but I enjoy it.
The Last Samurai is also a movie I really enjoyed, in fact, I enjoyed it enough to buy the DVD.
I can't think of any others that I liked and my friends hated.

well that's not exactly 5 movies, is it. take your post and shove it up your ass. Just kidding, but that isn't five movies. So I don't figure it belongs in here so I ban you Mr. moderator.
I bet if you really think about it, you can think of five. Either that or you only have one or two friends

3 other movies?? I could say The Smurfs, The Carebear Movie, and The Strawberry Shortcake Movie ... but they were all cinematic masterpieces that got shafted at the Oscars.
Sorry - ony got two legit movies that I really enjoyed that friends hated. Thing about friends is that you often have similar tastes, so the ones I liked/hated are generally the same as the ones they like/hated.

Five movies I've loved eh?
Last Samurai
Underworld 1 & 2
Fantastic Four
Moulin Rouge
Unbreakable
I heard a lot of negative things about these movies, so I guess lots of people hated them. But in my own little part of the world I could never tell, cause everyone I know either loved these, or thought they were good. I guess I have a good batch of friends.

Last Samurai - an AWESOME historical action flick, right up there with Gladiator
The Last of the Mohicans - I think I like it even better, I don't hear what other people think about it often, though
Mission: Impossible - a better spy film that any Bond movie could hope to be. Leaps and bounds better than M:I:II and M:I:III, Dan and John don't know what they're talking about.
The Matrix sequels - especially Reloaded. Not as good as the first, but still have some really good action sequences.
that's all I can think of right now.

Shawn of the Dead
Cabin Fever
Underworld
Underworld Evolution
Superman 3 and 4
Uh, who didn't like Shawn of the Dead? Whoever they are, they must not have a soul. Anyway...
Fantastic Four: For anyone who has ever actually read FF, this movie captures the feel of the comic perfectly. Lighthearted, funny, adventurous, it's all gravy.
Daredevil: Better than Batman 1. Yeah, I went there.
Resident Evil (1 & 2): "My sh** is custom!" Can't beat that. Fun, action packed zombie movies. Love it.
Starship Troopers: Unappreciated masterpiece, this one. Pure, undiluted, creamy genius.
Batman: Sub-Zero: No one even noticed this animated flick, but it's better than Mask of the Phantasm. Really cements Freeze as a tragic figure, complimented with hott animation and Batgirl kicking serious asscheeks.
And for good measure... Tomb Raider.

1) Gummo (I grew up poor, so I know how real alot of this shit is. That aside, it really is quite brilliant -- if you don't laugh you have no sense of humor ... but if you do laugh your a terrible human being)
2) One Hour Photo
3) Nacho Libre
4) The Arrival
5) Life Aquatic w/ STEVE ZISSOU.

Right away Die Hard 2 comes to mind, I will forever love that flick.
Other than that, pretty much any made for TV Disney Channel movie. I'm a sucker for that shit.

Shakespear in Love on those choices.
But I wouldn't go as far as to say that Daredevil was better than Batman, but after I saw it I did think it was better than the first Spiderman.
The Hulk - I absolutely love this movie.
Fantastic Four - it was cheesy, but in a good way
LXG - ok, I even hated it when I first saw it. Can anyone deny how bad the CGI is on this one? But I seem to watch it everytime it's on cable so I must like it on some level.
John Q - I'm a sucker for Denzel.
Unbreakable - in my Top 10 favorite movies.

Again, I can't really think of 5 right now, but one of them (yes there's a lot) is The Punisher. I liked how Tom Jane portrayed good ol' Frank Castle. While everyone else that I talk to about it say that it's just another dumb action flick.
