Hi, I have a friend who is teaching in china and would like to watch hulu (not accessable from china). Do you think he can use torproject.org or is there a better way to make hulu think he is originating from the US. The problem isnt on the chinese end its hulu. Thanks.

www.hotspotshield.com will solve his problem.
It's going to give him an American IP address. VPN FTW!
Good luck!

Tor would not be good at that what so ever, If he wanted to watch a tv show he would first have to luckily get an american IP, Then he would need to have it download over night before he could start watching it.

Yes, TOR is very slow. That's why they ask people not to do file sharing over it though some tards still do.

If you're so inclined, you can always set up some sort of proxy for him. Perhaps something like Squid (http://www.squid-cache.org/). :)

Yeah, I was wondering if maybe something like Hamachi would work.
