Direct download or watch it in flash. Its faster that way anyways.

The torrent is actually usually faster but this week there has only been one seed that is even occasionally online, have we been forgotten again?

Guys, I have to put on my Rev3 hat for a moment, and try to discourage you from getting ANY of the Rev3 shows from sources other than the official download pages.
Why?
To be a viable business, and be able to produce the shows you want to see/listen to, Jay and the folk in Rev3 management really need to keep track of download numbers. If you are BTing the show, or downloading from a mirror site, then those stats are nearly impossible to track.
Keeping track of those stats allows Jay to go to advertisers and say "We have a show with 50,000 video downlaods, and 125,000 audio downloads - how about throwing some advertising bucks our way?" Unless they can accurately do that, then as a business they are toast - no money for equipment, hosting, distribution, salaries/stipends, etc.
So, as Jack Black said "Don't be a douche, stop piracy" - its not like its costing you any more to use the legit download site ... except maybe some time, and even thats debatable given the number of seeds/peers that come and go on BT.
When you pass a homeless guy on the street this winter - just hope it isn't DannyT or JLo, forced to sell all they own, and both kidneys, just to keep the Geekdrome on the air.

See the "Torrents Feeds"??I understand that, but tracking BT metrics is not as accurate as tracking direct downloads, since others can create and distribute a seed that will not be trackable by Rev3 stats.
BT is a great distribution mechanism, but its gotta be controlled.
JLo - Demon Seed or Seed of Chucky?

You seem to have a little bit more insight on the matter than us so I figured id ask you this, whats the point in having the torrents then? If they dont help the site and end up just creating more problems then why have them at all? Or maybe they are slowly being fazed out hence the only one seed? Any answers on any of it would be greatly appreciated.

BT is really the only way from a small operation to distribute large files in times of overwhelming demand. One of the problems with the podcast model is the huge demand that is generated right after a podcast is released.
