I liked Jessica, but I didn't like her in this show.
Rev3 keeps things "real" between Tekzilla's no-thrills style and Diggnations bloopers that are part of the show (not talking about the ones during the credits)
Anyway, I wanted to hate on the host and say I am going to stop watching the show, except I don't want to be a troll (and I probably will keep watching the show--pathetic?) Along with Webjunk and the previous co-host, Jessica, (or hell America's Home Videos, for that matter) a show like this will NEVER work with a host. No host can, on his own, maintain a realistic and funny persona when all they have to work with are witty lines.
My Idea:
Everyone agrees that reading the comments work well. So why not take it to the next step, and make the commentors the host? What would be more web 2.0, then having it set up so that viewers can submit intros & comments, visually, and have those be the cues. It might still suck, but its an idea.
Another idea is to just throw the show in the gutter and implement the same concept within Internet Superstar, as they could be good hosts for this sort of thing.
