Changing RAM Slots

Would changing the position of the RAM chips on a (Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527) laptop change anything?
Could it make it faster?
On my laptop there are two.

If you only have one stick, then it should only be in the very first slot, otherwise it doesn't really make that much of a difference. (Unless one stick is larger than another, which in the case the larger stick should be in the first slow.)
