How does Justice League International Vol. 1 hold up over time? Does cool in 1987 mean it's cool now?

it's worth checking out. it's far superior to the current JLA series

I'm reading it right now. It's pretty good. There are some slight anachronisms, like over explaining stuff, but overall, it holds up very well.

I did't see all star batman and robin in the pull list or the side slider thing on the site. So it coming out or not?

Where did you guys get your information that it is shipping??

The final list doesn't come out until monday night, which is too late to get the show done. It was on the list before that, and it was listed on DC's website. We also wrote to DC, and asked, and they said the website was right.

It's not a perfect science, and this is Jim Lee we're talking about. Is anyone surprised?

I believe what he's saying is that it's not coming out this week. For sure.

The confusion was just that it was set to come out at the time the show was recorded. That's movie magic for you.

I'm saying that when this was recorded and uploaded, to the best of our knowledge, ASBAR was slated to come out tomorrow. The list was finalized monday night, and at that point it was too late to change the show, unfortunately.

There are going to be some shipping movements on these from time to time, so I'm sorry for the confusion, but we did do our homework on it.

Very well, doesn't cover it IMO. Super fantastic awesome, those words do fine.

Also, no Criminal on the preview show?

I mean, the book could use the press is all

It's not like we haven't given that book a lot of lip service.

I thought Jim Lee has done monthlies before? Also I was wondering if Miller working on The Spirit has had anything with the slow down. I'm not trying to take blame off of Lee by the way, I mean he did decide he should do stuff for what two monthlies and a video game, causing ASBAR to got sidetracked for months. *sigh*

Which reminds me of what you mentioned one of the last shows, are we ever going to see Wildcats again? That was the one time I can remember being excited for a Grant Morrison book.

Not to mention his editorial duties.

I didn't know he had editorial duties.

Also I tend to answer my own questions without realizing it. :o a lot.

He's the Editorial Director of the Wildstorm division of DC Comics.

This is the main reason why I cut him some slack for being so late with ASBARTBW ... longest comic title ever?

Did The Punisher come out? It's not on Diamonds website either. After you guys got me all excited for it ... you comic teasers.

Punisher came out and it was glorious, maybe you were looking at the non-Mature Readers list?

Ah, you're right! D'oh! Wrong list.

I get my new comics tomorrow. Punisher is good? SWEET!

Now I'm excited again.

Ron has an uncanny ability to sell me on books I would have otherwise left on the shelf. I'll be looking for the first two issues of Young Liars when I hit the shop next week.

I think the guys each bring something a little different to the mini episodes. Which is why I really do look forward to the daily solo episodes, maybe even more than the weekly.

Josh offers a funny, conversational tone which makes it all feel authentic and genuine. Conor brings a level of authority. He reminds me of my older cousins who recommended books to me when I was a kid. "Aquaman is not lame!" Wisdom from experience. And Ron, as I mentioned, is great at zeroing in on the finer details and really showcasing a book or concept to its fullest.

Hope that's helpful. I know that putting out new content and experimenting with the format is really nerve-racking, so I try to give my feedback where I can.

Keep it up.

Well, after hearing the podcast I decided to check it out. (I ordered that and "Queen and Country" from InStock) I'm new to this stuff but it looked interesting. Interestingly enough, I'm reading the first volume of "Sandman" and apparently Justice League is hooked into it.
