What is the most misleading cover that you have ever seen for a comic book?

I just finished reading through Thunderbolts #118, and the entire time I was reading I was waiting for Penance to get into a fight with Doc Samson. The reason why I was waiting for this was because on the cover it showed Mr. Baldwin (Penance) kicking the crap out of Doc Samson. However, I was sadly disappointed. Not only did they not fight, but they ended up just hanging out drinking beers while watching a game of rugby. Theirs not even any sense of tension between these two characters, let alone a fight erupting. Also these characters are only featured on 2 of the 22 total pages devoted to the comic. Huh?

I know I picked up the most recent Ultimate X-Men storyline based off of one of the covers I saw. I must say, if the writing matched the art, the book would be fantastic. This book really is the biggest disappointment because it has Kirkman's name on it.

when DMZ first started that arc where each issue was a little vingette about single characters, the first one just said "Deacade Later" on the cover underneith a guy with a paint mask, and i figured it was jumping the story ahead 10 years to show how the war was carrying on or something like that. i mean, how was I supposed to know that Decade Later was the name of the guy?

i'm sure there were more misleading covers, but that's the only thing that comes to mind at the moment

I can't think of one particular issue, but I just hate it when they put popular characters on the cover who are not even in the book, just to sell more copies.

It also sucks, when the cover shows a scene that never happens in the book. That's like a girl wearing a push-up bra -- false advertising.

In the original Ultimates series, it seemed like the covers featured characters who didn't show up til the next issue. I remember Hawkeye making an appearance/non appearance of this kind.
