Found 14 Full Episodes of The Screen Savers with Kevin and Alex

I was going through my DVD collection and found 3 DVD-R's marked "TSS." Immediately, I got excited and popped them in and man, they're still good. Especially three years after the launch of Diggnation.

Turns out that shortly after G4 revamped TSS into what is now Attack of the Show, I preserved every episode I had of The Screen Savers on my TiVo onto DVD's and completely forgot about them.

So the question now is what do I do with them? I was thinking about tossing them on YouTube but I really don't want to have to segment them into 10 minute pieces, especially if G4 pulls the legal junk and has them taken down. Then it was all for nothing. I do however want to share these with the Diggnation viewers who missed out on the original Kevin Rose/Alex Albrecht experience so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Yeah I have like 7 episodes, i think, that I downloaded from the Techtv bulk torrent. Good Times... Good Times...

I once uploaded like 12 hours of Chris Pirillo's Call-For-Help Athon and a few TSS episodes, I had to cut each thing down in 10 min segments with movie maker but it wasn't really hard. My account got banned though by Jagex LTD. and FOX and I didn't even infringe on any rights. So far I had 3 Youtube accounts banned (hint: Forward your Youtube email sign-up address to a Gmail filter called 'Youtube'). But I heard that G4 doesn't own the rights to TechTV media, and I believe it or zdtvfan (http://youtube.com/results?search_query=zdtvfan&search_type=) would be gone.

If you change your account to director they can be unlimited size. Look at zdtvfan's Youtube account (http://youtube.com/user/zdtvfan) for example.

Also, you can download Google's Video Uploader for unlimited, or use a diff site such as Veoh.

Just do not tag the videos with TECH or G4 stuff. Just tag them with TECH stuff. I had G4 close my account zoomtehctv on G4. I upload a halo clip from G4 still up. But nothing in the tittle or tags have any G4 stuff.

Hm normally you get warnings to take down Youtube clips. I didn't cause I used a fake email. You don't have to close your account just remove the video.

Just search TechTV Bulk Torrent in Google. I has like 41GB of Techtv stuff, a lot of TSS and Unscrewed, but there is a little bit of everything, Mostly later stuff though.

I agree totally, Alex has stated multiple times how much the fans mean to the show and him, and on one occasion kevin even mocked him for it lol, no disrespect, kevin is still awesome but Alex is my fav for sure.

I was downloading that bulk torrent last year, but thank to limited hard drive space, I couldn't get the rest. Although I was able to get clips of Megan and plenty of high pitched chris pirillo goodness, it's since been deleted. a few weeks back when I was in need of a TTV fix I went looking for it again, only to find out it's been removed from the internets completely it would seem.

although as previously mentioned, the zdtvfan or techtvfan, whichever it is, is a good resource for classic material. i've been pulling that stuff off of youtube like mad and converting it to divx for future use on the xbox, when i'm not watching TRS and DN...and lost.
