I am trying to make some RCA, component, and composite cables for the home theater I am building. I found ep. 3 very helpful, however I cannot find Canare CANF-09 RCA connectors or Canare CANRCAP-C53 75ohm RCA connectors, anywhere. Belden 1694A coax cable with the CANRCAP-C53 connectors and Belden 82761 audio cable and Canare CANF-09 RCA connectors is what was reccomended on the episode. I checked the Canare website and they do not have them listed so I am guessing they have phased thoes connectors out. However they do not list any connectors they replaced them with.

I was able to find both of the belden cables on markertek.com. I found Canare BCP-C53A BNC Connector which they list as working with the Belden 1694A coax cable (for video).
However they have nothing listed for connectors for the Belden 82761 audio cable.

My question is, can someone recomend a connector that works with the Belden 82761 audio cable, and will the combination that I found for video make high-quality component and composite cables?

Thank you

Your not looking hard enough. http://store.haveinc.com/Ebus30/Parts/Default.asp?Commodity=CCA003&Manufacturer=Canare

Here is the company's link: http://www.haveinc.com/

You can find most cable needs there. They supply broadcast facilities, so they understand cables. (I used them when I need stuff in another career.)

BTW, their site seems to be written for IE, FireFox and Opera have issues with it.

Gotta love search engine inteligence.
Go back to markertek and search for "Canare F-09"
Then "Canare RCAP-C53"

The coax cable and connectors are well suited for composite/component or SPDIF

Thank you both so much. Not knowing a ton about cables outside of computer networking I was not sure if I was finding the right stuff when the full search didn't give me any results.
