Geekdrome Picnic Instructions and Details!

Hey guys,

Here are the details for the Geekdrome picnic to which you are all cordially invited to partake in some kickball, some DS Tetris, some Hank, some Cheese, some hamburgers, some boca burgers (I dunno what they are but I'll grill 'em if you bring 'em), some Graham Douglas Extreme Frisbee, some Omar Black Cauldron Calderon of Power and of course... some Dromies and the taping of Episode 52!!!

Saturday, November 18th
11:00 AM - when we leave to get in line for the Wii

Location and Directions:
Griffith Park - The Old Zoo (where they filmed the ending to Police Academy 2)

From the I-5 Freeway (North or South):
-Take the Los Feliz Blvd. Exit and go WEST on Los Feliz Blvd. (If you are on I-5 N you'll take a left over the freeway/ I-5 South you'll take a right off the freeway)
-Go NORTH on Riverside Dr. into Griffith Park (from the Freeway that is a RIGHT/ from Hollywood headed EAST on Los Feliz Blvd. that is a LEFT).
-Head North into the park through TWO STOP SIGNS and at your THIRD STOP SIGN take a LEFT.
-You will drive up the road a bit past some park areas and finally it'll curve right. You'll see a PARKING AREA on your RIGHT and a walking path on your LEFT.
-Park, cross the road and walk up the path to the Old Zoo area. There will be a field with some grilling areas along the left. This is where the "get down get down" is gonna be.
-Have fun. The End.

I just wanted to give all of you a pep talk before the big day. You see you're at that age where you feel tempted and pressured by your peers to do certain things that could effect the rest of your lives. It's natural to want to do these things and I think you're all old enough to be making these adult decisions for yourselves.

As much as I trust all of you I just wouldn't feel like a responsible forum member if I didn't atleast remind you to use protection and take all the precautions you can. It's understandable that most of you have never had a partner before and feel like contracting something could never happen to you, but no matter what the other person/people in the group tell you about their past relationships there's just no way to know if what they're saying is true.
