Howdy, i'm hoping some Rev3 staffer could answer this for me.. I'm thinking of starting a new IPTV show and i have a HD camera...I've got good settings for the 640x480 Xvid, the 640x480 h264 and the 320x240 h264, but on the same length videos (actually shorter) as Scam School, at the same resolution (720p), the filesize is double the filesize of the Rev3 show. I'm wondering, what magical settings do you guys use for encoding the HD episodes?
I use Mac and PC (Got Final Cut Studio so i have Compressor, VisualHub, MediaCoder, etc) so i figure any app you guys use will work for me as well :)
Thanks

I think their "magic setting" is called cutting the bitrate, effectively making a lower quality "HD" video.

I loaded a random HD tekzilla episode into MediaCoder to see what it says.
