it downloads and I get Audio for the large quicktime in miro but I get no video..just a grey screen.
even the old miro vids I dled in miro now do this..they never did before and I changed nothing.

Does the downloaded video play okay with QuickTime, iTunes, or VLC? Not asking you to switch players, just want to identify if the problem is with the video or the player.
Could you also give a specific episode that you're having problems with?

nothing will play.
I can play it in quicktime just fine but nothing will play in miro..I just get audio and gray screen.

Wierd it just randomly started working again..sorry to bother you..but if it comes back guess I will come back and ask.
Hopefully it doesn't come back.

I had the same problem I found if you use the arrow keys to fast foward and reverse a little bit the video will start, then you can go back to the start. Also I have had wierd problems with Miro like if you watch a video and after the 5 days it deletes the video it will re-download it and mark it as new any suggestions with that?

Press the Keep button.

Have you double-checked what is the AUTO DOWNLOAD status for that channel? If it's on ALL and you have them expire after 5 days, once they're gone but the Miro checks for videos it will see that you want the all but you have some missing.
You should put Auto Download in NEW or OFF (requires to click to download the new shows)

Yeah it's on NEW I don't know what is the matter with it but it is really annoying does any body know any other podcast players that are like Miro

It is doing it again and the only way to get it to stop is to restart my PC...it's damn annoying..any ideas(tried the fast forwarding and back thing but didn't work)
EDIT: ow even after restarting it still does not work.

it's still doing it..whether I dl through miro directly or from the site all shows give me the grey screen.

Yeah... the Rev3 feed on Miro is farked for me too. Everything worked fine for me on Friday (Diggnation being the example), but on Monday nothing from Rev3 works. The new Lil' Internet Superstar and SYStM won't show up, and they won't auto-download. I use the HD feeds, if that helps.
It won't auto-download new shows, and it won't let me add a Rev3 channel (Tekzilla). When I try to add Tekzilla, I get this message: "Couldn't load the feed at http://revision3.com/tekzilla/feed/quicktime-high-definition (Error: HTTP error). Would you like to keep the feed?"
I assume this is on Rev3's end, because I had no trouble adding any other new channels or downloading new shows (such as the 1Up Show). I haven't changed anything on my computer, and haven't touched the settings in Miro lately... so I'm 100% sure I'm not the issue either.
Is a fix in the works, or do you not have a clue what might be my issue?
I fully rely on Miro to watch your shows. I hardly ever head to Revision3.com anymore... and the only time I do mosey over here is to check the forums to make sure everyone else thought the last episode of Diggnation was kinda crappy.

Same thing here, I recently had to do my (semi)monthly reformat and had just reinstalled miro. I used the rev3 version before but the lack of a tray icon turned me off so I decided on trying the miro version and not rev3.
Anyhow, I'm getting the same error message and I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the problems early this morning with the server not responding?
I'm keeping the feed up just incase.

Same problem. All Revision3 feeds are not updating and I receive an error if attempting to add a Rev3 feed. This happened sometime last week too, but the problem was resolved without my intervention a day or so later. If I view a feed through and RSS reader the newest episodes are of course there. I'm running Miro 1.2.3

Since they have not responded since I guess they don't care but another problem is it now serves no point besides not working most the time and when the new shows go up it's not on miro for another couple hours so i still have to get my rev3 shows the old way.
Please Rev3 fix the thing or just drop it alltogether.:mad:

We're talking to Miro and investigating this. The feed is literally our rss feed which works in other, commonly more picky, aggregators. So I see no reason this shouldn't work.

I'm having the same problem....popsiren wasn't updating...I didn't even know there was a 8th and 9th epsiode until I checked the website cause I thought it was canceled or something. Please fix the Miro feeds. I even tried deleting my Diggnation feed so I could readd it to see if it was just a popsiren problem. Non of the Rev3 Miro feeds work. :(

For the record, I'm having the same sudden problems in Miro too. The Revision3 feeds (QT HD) are not showing any new episodes for the past few days. I've tried manually refreshing the feeds, restarting, nothing works. If I also try to add a new Revision3 feed to Miro, I get the same error messages as mentioned above. I've other feeds from other sites that are working fine.

Silver lining is that I get an opportunity to try and catch up on all my other feeds. :rolleyes:

Same here, as far as i can tell. i let my feeds download over night while i sleep and usually watch a couple on breaks at work on my Macbook. it looks like i have a couple new rev3 downloads that i couldn't get working yesterday. Hopefully it's working now. I'll have to double check when I get home.

Yeah... my Rev3 Miro feeds are down again. HD Quicktime. New episodes aren't showing up (Diggnation, Scam School among others).

Same thing here. Miro isn't reading the feeds properly. I tried to add the RSS feed manually for Tekzilla Large Xvid (http://revision3.com/tekzilla/feed/xvid-large/) and get a "HTTP Error" message.

All Revision3 feeds now cause infinite loops of internal errors in Miro and cause it to crash. This started happening just this afternoon.
I had to completely zap Miro and reinstall it just to get it to start up again, and there's no problems with adding any other sites' feeds, but the Revision3 ones cause Miro death. :(
Can folks please verify that it's working for them now? We just fixed a problem about 20 minutes ago - we're still not exactly sure how it happened in the first place, but it was screwing up HTTP headers - which some readers didn't mind, but some sure did. :)

Still not working for me. I've linked to a screenshot of what happens as soon as I try to add a feed (in the case, Diggnation HD).

Yep, that's the problem we fixed (it was definitely a problem, and it's working fine in Miro for me now - just double-checked). I'm at a loss to understand why it might still be happening for you, unless something is cached somewhere...

Yup, same error as Erisar. Thought Miro was bugged, but it turns out that the errors are coming from all Revision 3 shows. Interestingly enough, it was, however, able to download the latest Tekzilla, but the errors still keep poping up.

I was receiving the Miro "Internal error" message and was unable to download Rev3 shows earlier today.
It is now working again though.

Please try deleting the feeds and adding them again. I know this is a pain, but you might, as riz suggested, have it cached somewhere.

I didn't have to, as they were all already deleted from my previous wipe of Miro and all its preferences and cache files. That said, I tried again today and they all work fine again. Thanks for the prompt fixage. :)
