I just wanted to say that I think that Moujan is a great addition to the show. I've really enjoyed her segments so far and I'm looking forward to more of them.:D

Agree with you there, i've found her segments really fun and well presented.
Like the ideas of re purposing old stuff into something cool.

Yep, I've got a warm spot for Moujan myself. In an entirely, non-creepy way...of course.

Considering she drugged Martin Sargent and took some of his blood, I think she's the one you'd have to be worried about being creepy.

Although I share the same sentiment...;)

Moujan rocks!! oh, and on a side note, I've got a ton of other altoid tin tricks for her...like an iPod case, or an mp3 player, an expandable-capacity USB mass-storage device, and tons more stuff...Altoid tins truly are one of the greatest things in any modder geek's arsenal.

That said, they should have Moujan on an episode of Systm maybe...that'd be cool.

Moujan is awesome!! She is going to be doing some more stuff on a new Revision 3 show, soon to come--

Plus, she is my right hand man ;)

That scrabble board segment was pretty dumb IMO. So wasteful and so useless.

If you were going to waste a perfectly good Scrabble board, a better way to do the same thing without all the thumbtacks and holes, would be to use magnets. No holes, no pointy thumbtacks that you can lose and then have someone step on. PLUS you could still use the board to play scrabble on!

I hope the future remix segments aren't as dumb as this one.

Of course, doing it that way would also involve cutting a piece of sheet metal to match the size of the board and mounting the board onto it so that the magnets have something to stick to. While this would avoid the holes, I doubt that most people would have the necessary tools on hand.

You could easily use some of the sticky magnetic sheets that you can get at craft stores, or I've seen some spray type magnetic stuff at Sherwin Williams (it may not be very strong, but it would beat wasting a perfectly fine scrabble board). All I'm saying is that this project was not even recycling anything, it was more like taking something that you can still use and making its use even worse.

Oh, and the whole compact thing. That didn't really make much sense. "I'm going to remove the mirror from another compact and use it in my new one..." Yeah... that logic is screwed up. Sure, this project made a little more sense than the scrabble board, but I remember back in the day of TSS where they made headphone amps out of Altoid tins... and if you ask me, that is a heck of a lot more useful than a mirror that you probably took from something smaller than an altoid tin to begin with.

Bottom line: find cooler remix projects!

Ok, hadn't thought of that.:o

Well, there are people who would throw the game out if it were missing pieces...and others who would sell it for a quarter at a garage sale, having not played it for years. Some people may just like the visual of it.

I do agree on the magnet idea being a better idea for heavy use...or some sort of silkscreen/wallpaper idea on corkboard.

I think the idea with the altoids compact was for looks (or if you had a broken compact...rather than buying new.)

I think it was the episode with Taye Zonday, or maybe the one before it. She's one of his neighbors who has a creepy crush on him.

Heh, and I'm off to download the episode. :)
