Okay, so it's not so much that. But I can't wait until our new steam cleaner arrives. The Hoover is about dead. Bought the thing in 2001 and it's been used monthly at the least, sometimes a lot more often when I let friends borrow it, and it's a regular home model not intended for that much use. So we ordered a Rug Doctor Widetrack. It should arrive sometime next week. We are all kinds of excited.

Know what else is exciting? We can get rid of those damned beasts - I mean, get the pups into new homes - soon. :)

Is it sad that I am updating the FedEx tracking page every couple hours? It'll arrive on Thursday.

I love Canada Post's... It's awesome when it says "Package Delivered" and the thing isn't even in my hands :p

Oh that never happens here in the U.S.

LOL Yea Right. The worst is when UPS would say out for delivery and then it does not arrive so you check again and it will say out for delivery again but the date changed to the next day. I makes you think that the driver did not feel like delivering it so he did not.

Happens all the time in the US.

I once ordered jewelry, tone of it, real stuff, diamonds, sapphires, etc., back when I regularly wholesaled it, and UPS lost is. OMFG, their insurance process is a bitch. My supplier ended up reshipping to me using DHL, and then a few months later UPS reimbursed them, but then found it, I guess, because they ended up delivering to me the original shipment several months late.

If it's a couple hours before last delivery, if you call and are nice, but firm, with them, they'll sometimes make it a priority to get stuff out that day. They don't want to be dealing with bitching customers, so will let someone else wait another day.
