how can we get the youtube embed fixed ?

it is either beyond rev3 techinical capacities or it is something else

so i want to see if together we can get it fixed

here are some ideas:

get in touch with google (anyone know how to do that)

get in touch with youtube (same question)

or put a youtube (non working OF COURSE) player in every post

1. The tags for embedded youtube were <youtube>youtube_file_id</youtube> ... so your youtube imbed wouldn't have worked anyway. It should have been <youtube>EXUYO7NpcEU</youtube>. (Sub <> for []).

Its still broken, but at least it had a chance of working this way :)

2. Post in the new Revision3 Support forum - where the admins and staff monitor for problems. I have taken the liberty of moving the post there for you ;)

Its been anoying me as well. I put both the video URL and the embed code in my links in the naive hope that one day it will work again.

As mentioned above, I've got my flash programmer to get this one fixed. As of right now, the features of this version of the player are kind of limited, but volume controls, and a scrub bar will be among the soon-to-be added features to it. Just didn't want you to think we left them out or forgot about them. We wanted to get a working version of the player out ASAP. :cool:
