So, here's the deal. I kicked the WOW habit about a year ago, 2 level 70's in a decent raiding guild who cleared everything up to Kael'Thas at the time when I quit. Several reasons for quitting: didn't allow me time for other things, infringing on school work, forgot what sunlight looked like..
After listening to Veronica's howiwow interview I almost want to pick the game up again! It's been deleted off my computer for a long time, so I'd have to setup all those addons we all love, etc.. but damn, lord help me.

I am a huge pc gamer...I built this computer completely around gaming, knowing if I can play kick ass games on it I could do everything else on it, But I just started playing WOW this week. It is great! Graphics seem a little "old" to recent games (crysis, cod4) but very fun. I have quest helper but what other add-ons are worth getting?

Well, depends on your character, my 70's were a hunter and priest.
This is your best resource, just poke around, see what has high ratings and looks nice, then try it out. I had about 20 or so addons at my highest, and my goal was to cut that down, so I found a bunch that had multiple functions on them so I could reduce the RAM I used for addons :p

Ick. I've quit that game so many times. This time I'm done. Warhammer is going to be out relatively soon, and I pre-ordered it, so I'l get to play the beta. No more WoW for me. That game is evil.
Blech. At least I'll have time to catch up on all the Rev3 stuff. :D

I only played the game from a torrent and I never got addicted. I quit after an hour of playing. It was really boring for me.

I can't see myself spending money for a game and then having to pay every month. I did something like that with an online multiplayer game way back in the early 90s (and it was hourly at the time)...it was too much of a time and money waste, which is to say it was fun.

It's cheap entertainment. Sure, you spend $50 when you buy the game, but it's a minimal fee for as much time as you can put in to it.

maybe, but I have way to much other things to do to get into a time investment like that.

Did you mean Warhammer Online? If so, I heard it was going to come out late 2008/ early 2009.

Yes I did. It's due Oct 14th, I believe. I've got an open beta key, so I'm just waiting sorta patiently for the open beta to start. :)

Yes its real cheap if you play a couple hours a day but it you only play 1 hour a month it is not. To me is worth the 14.99 a month the game is so detailed! Not really the graphics but the game play is great! I am addicted!
